ABOUT
Simon is an Emmy winning director of photography. He began his career in the late 90s apprenticed to the Oscar winning cameraman Peter Parks OBE, and has since worked on a wide variety of productions for television and cinema, including many landmark natural history films.
Throughout his career he has continued to work in documentary, drama and natural history, often blending techniques across genres to generate innovative visual styles. He has photographed three major cinema productions; the feature documentary Wilding, the hugely successful IMAX film Flight of the Butterflies and Galapagos, one of his many projects with Sir David Attenborough.
